This week, we were delighted to open our nursery doors to some very special visitors as we celebrated National Grandparents Day!
We warmly welcomed grandparents and older family members into our nursery to join us for a wonderful day of play, exploration and memory-making. The children enjoyed a variety of exciting activities. From exploring animal families and sharing stories, including the new *Gruffalo Granny*, to drawing self-portraits and painting gingerbread people, there were plenty of opportunities for creativity, learning and fun!
Some of our budding photographers even took the opportunity to use the nursery camera to capture their own special moments, creating lovely memories of the time spent with their families.
One of the highlights of the week was seeing the children’s excitement as they proudly welcomed their loved ones into their nursery environment. They loved talking about their families, sharing their favourite activities and inviting their special visitors to join in with their play.
A heartfelt thank you to all the grandparents and family members who joined us! đŸ’› It was a joy to see different generations coming together to share in the children’s learning and experiences.
