About our Team
Our team have a strong depth of experience and are highly qualified in childcare and education at Childerwood Nursery.
As early years professionals, we encourage an environment in which young children can grow and develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually but most of all have fun whilst learning through play.
We pride ourselves on having a highly qualified staff team that are fully supported by the Owner, who is heavily invested in the staff’s professional development leading to a quality workforce providing enhanced care for your child.
Meet the Management Team
Eliz Martin
Business Owner
Eliz is a Director at Childerwood Nursery and has many years’ experience rebuilding and creating highly desirable settings in both new and established childcare provisions, where previous standards had fallen below the acceptable standards of Ofsted.
Eliz has been actively involved with Norfolk County Council working parties, such as quality assurance schemes, private consultancy work for the early year’s sector and has completed numerous training courses over the years to continue developing her knowledge and skills including level 3 and level 4 qualifications in professional development for early years
Paul Murdoch
Business Owner
Paul is a Director at Childerwood Nursery and has worked in the childcare and education sector since 1994. Paul has a passion for childcare and child learning development initiatives and has been involved in a number of educational settings to support this goal.
Paul is also involved in a number of activities outside of the education sector, and brings his wider knowledge to the development and sustainability of the Childerwood business.
Rae-Louise Grace
Nursery Manager
Rae-Louise has worked with Childerwood Nursery since 2014 and is a qualified level 7 QTS teacher. She completed a BA in Education at UEA in 2010 before continuing to study as an Early Years Professional which she completed in 2011, and before joining Childerwood she has experience of nannying abroad in the USA.
She has experience of working with children from birth to 5 years old but has spent most of her career with the toddlers to preschool age. Since becoming Manager Rae-Louise has had training in Special Educational Needs and is the Lead SENCO and one of the DSL’s in the Nursery.
More recently she has taken on more of the office side of the Nursery specialising in Social Care and Health & Safety and is one of the first points of call when parents call or email into Nursery.
