A Team of experienced professionals
Childerwood Nursery is led by a team of highly qualified and experienced practitioners, many of whom have long careers in Early Years Education. Our staff includes graduates with Degrees and Master’s Degrees in Early Years from the renowned University of East Anglia and City College Norwich.
We believe that ongoing education and training are essential for our Practitioners to provide high-quality care and education for every child. We have a dedicated Quality and Training Lead who ensures that our bespoke Childerwood Nursery curriculum is followed, monitors nursery quality, and organises regular training and CPD sessions for our staff.
We collaborate with external training organisations to offer comprehensive apprenticeship programmes, with many apprentices progressing to senior roles within our company. We support graduate apprentices in pursuing higher-level training such as Early Years Initial Teacher Training and PGCE. Additionally, we welcome students from local colleges to help nurture the future early years workforce.
As a Nursery, we are committed to excellence and continuous improvement for the benefit of our children. We are members of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) and the Preschool Learning Alliance, and we maintain close partnerships with other nurseries and the local authority.
